Suppliers of the raw colostrum

are certified Swiss organic farms

They are certified for their organic and bio-dynamic standards of production and we are in personal contact with our contractual suppliers.

Our farmers deliver only colostrum from cows that:

• are perfectly healthy.
• have not been in contact with antibiotics for one year.

The colostrum is collected within the first 12 hours after birth. For the newborn calf the colostrum is absolutely necessary for its survival. Unlike human beings the calf does not get any antibodies through the milk of the mother and is therefore completely unprotected at birth. That is why the colostrum has such a special composition and contains all the necessary ingredients to protect the calf. This means that only an excess of the firstmilk is available for our purpose which adds up to an average of 5 liters per cow and year.
